Оne-day courses "Foundation of Philosophical Counseling" (after the conference)

A set for one-day courses "Foundation of Philosophical Counseling" is announced, dedicated to the use of Stoic, Taoist and Buddhist philosophy in philosophical practice. The leader of courses is Professor of Philosophy, Dean of the Department of Philosophy, City College of New York (USA), President of the American Association of Practical Philosophers (APPA) Lou Marinoff. Largely thanks to his efforts, the movement of philosophical practice became popular. A huge role in this was played by his best-selling book Plato, not prozac! Applying philosophy to everyday problems (1999), translated into many languages ​​of the world. He is one of the most recognizable and readable authors in the world.

Courses will be held on August 1, 2020 at the Institute of Human Philosophy, Russian State Pedagogical University (St. Petersburg, Malaya Posadskaya St., 26) after the end of the XVI International Conference on Philosophical Practice (July 28-31).

Registration for courses is carried out in advance. Registration deadlines - until March 10, 2020. The number of seats is limited. The cost of the courses is 50 US dollars. The language of the courses is English / Russian.
